Iain Shaw has been performing as a Professional Magician on cruise ships for 25 years, captivating audiences around the world and entertaining people of all ages and nationalities, with his stunning magic. His quick wit and charm ensure his audience glow with smiles and roar with laughter.
Iain presents two different 45-minute Comedy Cabaret Magic stage shows which incorporate elaborate and thrilling tricks, mind-blowing predictions, escapology and plenty of humour, with or without audience stage participation. He can perform two 45-minute Close-Up Magic shows in the theatre, if it has the facility of a video camera and a screen. He also has a 45-minute Children’s Magic Show which mystifies the young audiences and brings laughter to all the family. In addition to his shows, Iain can also perform fascinating Close-Up Walkaround Magic to mix and mingle amongst the guests. Whether it be on a pool deck, or in restaurants, bars and clubs around the ship.Audiences worldwide will be entertained and amazed by the seemingly impossible, in performances that will live with them long after they leave the theatre!
Career Highlights
Since the age of 5, magic and illusion has always been Iain’s passion. During his career as a Magician, Iain has toured with his Magic and Illusion shows across theatres in the UK, on TV and has many years’ experience performing and directing his own stage shows on board the world’s top cruise lines. He started working on cruise ships when he was just 20 years old and has been producing outstanding performances ever since! Iain has also worked with comedy legend Peter Kay on the TV show “Britain’s Got The Pop Factor”, where he performed an exceptional levitation illusion. He has also worked in top theatres across the UK with celebrities like Bobby Davro and Cannon and Ball to name but a few!
